Monitor Your Power Protection for Peak Performance

Prevent downtime by monitoring power all the time
To ensure consistent power protection from your UPS system, you need to monitor your power regularly. As your UPS system protects your valuable equipment, you need to ensure its operating optimally. Why is it so important?

The benefits of power monitoring:

  • Prevents power loss that can cause downtime
  • Ensures your battery is working when you need it
  • Protects equipment and data by managing safe shutdowns
  • Improves efficiency, reduces costs, and helps plan for future power needs

CyberPower provides an easy way for you to monitor and manage what is occurring with your power protection equipment with PowerPanel® software. This can be done in two ways; locally or remotely.

Local Monitoring
Compatible CyberPower UPS models that are directly connected to a computer or workstation allow you to monitor power, check the status of your UPS, manage shutdowns and reboots, and set notifications for power events.

For example, for optimal efficiency, if you will be traveling over the weekend, you can schedule your personal desktop computer to shutdown after you leave to preserve power, and then schedule a reboot prior to your return.

Remote Monitoring
Power can be monitored remotely and on multiple UPS systems from a central workstation, with a remote management card or cloud card. A remote management setup is ideal for organizations with multiple locations across a state, country, or even the world.

Power management software provides easy-to-use controls to make setup simple. Power status/alerts can be viewed from any web browser. Remote monitoring allows you to troubleshoot power issues and schedule power maintenance from anywhere.

For example, an IT administrator who is located at their organization’s headquarters can be alerted regarding power issues at satellite offices.
